Moreover, the train speed protection module and the train traction characteristic module are presents to ensure that the control laws can satisfy with the operation constraints. To verify the performance of the fuzzy logic controller, the speed and time tracking errors are compared with the PID controller based on the predefined speed profiles. Simulation results show that the proposed controller achieve the trade-off between speed and time tracking within the allowable range.
