Research on Cross-Regional Interaction in Converter-Dominated Distribution Grids
Today's electrical power system is subjected to changes and improvements. In distribution grids, the number of converters, which connect the energy devices to the grid, is dramatically increased. The objective of this paper is to analyze the destabilization effect on system stability with increasing number of converter. Coinstantaneous this paper also developed a feasible solution by an enhancement of the converter control structure and an operation point dependent stabilizing factor. The results are demonstrated with Cigré benchmark grid in effective value time domain.
