A Method for Optimizing the RF Field Distribution in a Gyromonotron
The maximum efficiency of a gyromonotron depends on the RF field and the static magnetic field distributions in the resonator. A method for optimizing the RF field distribution is presented. The possibility of realizing this optimized field distribution by employing a magnetic field step will be studied.
