Layered structure based filter with metamaterial layers
We present a design of a filter based on a planar layered structure for the infrared domain. The filter structure consists of usual material layers and layers of metamaterial. The important property of the filter is the low loss in the pass-band and high level of the attenuation in the stop-band.
