This research addresses the needs of mobile applications in learning environment. It will focus on development of a mobile apps for learning chemistry. This paper will consider the case study for a local secondary school in Malaysia. Usability test and Functionality test will be conducted to evaluate the function of the mobile apps. The methodology used to develop the mobile learning application is Mobile Application Development Life Cycle (MADLC) Model. The result form this research had shown that, mobile apps can help school students understanding the theory of specific topics in chemistry subject.
