Un recueil de proverbes mbuun d'Imbongo (RD Congo, bantu B87)

Cet article presente 125 proverbes recueillis chez les Mbuun d’Imbongo, un peuple bantouphone de la Province du Bandundu en Republique Democratique du Congo. Chaque proverbe est presente dans la langue d'origine, le mbuun, suivi d'une traduction litteraire aussi proche que possible de la traduction litterale et d’un commentaire sur la signification et son contexte d’usage. En vue d’une exploitation linguistique ulterieure de ce corpus, chaque proverbe fait egalement l’objet d’une analyse morphologique preliminaire. This paper presents 125 proverbs collected among the Mbuun of Imbongo, a Bantu-speaking people from the Bandundu Province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Each proverb is given in the original language, Mbuun, followed by a literary translation which is as close as possible to the original proverb and by a comment on its signification and context of use.
