Frequency Control Features for Increasing DER Penetration in Power System
The paper describes problems of power system frequency control during massive penetration of DER. Main problems caused by integration of DER are considered. Model of the Baltic States power system interconnection is developed for a frequency control study. The example of the practical investigation is presented in the paper.
