Utilização de softwares de controlo de custos no processo de ensino-aprendizagem: gestão de empresas agrícolas e formação dos gestores agrícolas

The present study aims to assess the information needs of agricultural companies, analyse the available computer resources and discuss the integration of these resources in the teaching-learning processes. This study intends to contribute to deepen knowledge about the advantages of using management tools in a classroom environment to increase students’ motivation and involvement in the teaching-learning process, maximise acquired skills, and improve business efficiency. In an exploratory approach, this study applies a questionnaire to Portuguese farmers, obtaining 114 responses, which allowed us to validate the importance of using adequate information systems. This paper contributes to evaluate the impact of management tools on students’ motivation and academic success.
