Data is available in many forms, from paper to offline digital readings to real-time field sensors. The availability and reliability (i.e., quality) of data is critical especially for Monitoring and Diagnostic (M&D) functions. This paper details the practical experience of deploying and utilizing “big data” with specific focus on data quality in Advanced Analytical Solutions.
