This paper proposes an object-oriented model for large real-time systems. In this model we emphasize component assessment as one of the important process in a development, which is done based on checking each components against a set of criteria for reuse and quality. This paper identifies, in detail, Ada language (chosen for study) structures for concurrent real-time applications whose effective use affects component reusability.
