Since the region of interest in medical images is generally the object in the centre of the image, it is extracted and encoded using a lossless DPCM coder. For performance analysis, the proposed method is applied to various medical images. Bits per pixel values are calculated and compared with those of the object based wavelet transform coder and the direct coders. 摘要
