HALLS DE ENTRADA DOS HOTÉIS DE PONTA GROSSA-PR: UMA PERSPECTIVA INTERDISCIPLINAR DA HOTELARIA, DESIGN DE INTERIORES E ERGONOMIA

The entrance hall is one of the first impressions that the guest has regarding the infrastructure of a hotel, it is in this environment that the style of the enterprise is characterized, having great importance from the perspective of the client regarding the enterprise. This research analyzed the entrance halls of hotels in the destination Ponta Grossa, Paraná, verifying if they are adequate to the concepts of hospitality, interior design and ergonomics. The hotels selected for the study have distinct management characteristics, one being a network, one managed by the owner and one operated by the owner, all located in the central area of the city and were chosen with the aim of identifying unique characteristics of the hotel's design interior architecture, as well as understanding the role of the interior design professional within the hospitality lobby space. Thus, the styles of interior design, concepts and ergonomic references were analyzed, attesting whether the hotels are within the recommended range from the perspective of hospitality, interior design and ergonomics. As a result, hotels have unique characteristics and the style of their interior can be identified and are, for the most part, within the concepts of ergonomics.
