Adiabatic soliton spectral compression in a dispersion-increasing fiber
For the first time to our best knowledge, adiabatic soliton spectral compression is experimentally demonstrated in a dispersion-increasing fiber. Spectral compression ratio of 15.5 is obtained using 350 fs up-chirped pulse in the 1.5 μm.
