By the adoption of a grounded Lange coupler and wideband impedance matching network, the proposed rectifier achieves high efficiency at wide ranges of frequency and power. Mechanism of the rectifier is studied and the experimental verification is carried out. Measured results exhibit that, within the frequency range of 1.0 – 2.7 GHz and power range of 5.2 – 23.0 dBm, the rectifying efficiency maintains over 70% of its maximum values.
