Existing designs with minor improvements are being used since then. The goal is to critically discuss the parameters one by one based on which a specific design configuration of a seaplane is evaluated in this paper. Trimaran based configuration is based on a blend of float plane and flying boat. It has lower aerodynamic drag once airborne. The hydrostatic stability is achieved by the restoring moment generated by the interaction between cg and mc height.
