Performed: general monitoring of processes; monitoring by operators of all facilities; tours and inspection of facilities; laboratory measurements and control; installation, dismantling and repair to maintain the facilities. Mixed lighting should be implemented in the main sections of the engine room. In some of the constituent rooms and sections, there is no access to daylight natural lighting.The aim of the present work is to determine the technical and economic parameters of a multi-component lighting system of a main engine room of a thermal power plant, realizing high energy efficiency.It is proposed to replace the conventional lighting fixtures which is with metal halide lamps with modern LED lighting fixtures with high efficiency.As a result of the proposed replacement, an almost two-fold reduction of the installed power has been achieved.
