By detection of the received signal and a simplified process without any knowledge of channel statement information, this scheme can approach the ideal selection strategy. Single carrier system and STC-OFDM (space-time-code orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) system with Alamouti STBC (space time block code) are both considered.
