This paper examines what are the values contained in martial arts that can be taught to students. This research is a qualitative research, which describes what are the values contained in each form of martial arts. The data collection technique used is literature study. The literature study carried out in this study used the thesis of Unila Dance Education study program students who wrote about martial arts including Khakot, Sung-sung, and Kuttau. All of these objects are studied using the concepts of cultural values and education. The results of this study indicate that this self-defense material can be used as an option to be taught to students.
