This architecture uses a new interfacing technique for the data transfer from the microprocessor-based system to our video memory. This technique is based on the use of extended physical addressing or fast physical addressing which is aimed to reduce the use of physical addresses in microprocessor-based system. Furthermore, it improves the data transfer speed.
