The urgency of the task of the mathematical models synthesis for the electrotechnical system on the basis of the AC electric drive with the field regulated reluctance machine is identified. The results reviews that the field regulated reluctance machine have a high overload capability and this fact shows that this electric drive can be used in the processing facilities with heavy duty operation.
