The video is captured using a pi camera and employs a motion detection algorithm called background subtraction model to detect motions. The camera can be panned and tilted using servo motors. DC motors are employed for maneuvering the Smart Buggy. Movements include forward, backward, left, and right. All the operations are performed via the internet and the concept of the Internet of Things.
