An optimal gearshift schedule during the regenerative braking process could significantly increase the energy recovery rate. In this paper, a comprehensive braking force distribution strategy and mechanism of shifting point selection during regenerative braking for P2 hybrid powertrain are proposed. Moreover, the economical gearshift schedule and the off-line gearshift map are also constructed.
