Recently, these machines have been driven by V/F controlled VFDs, which led to decreasing the overall cost of the HVAC system and increasing its overall efficiency simulta-neously. Load torque in the blower and pumps is proportional to the rotor speed. This can be improved further by optimizing the flux's magnitude.
