The study group of the research consisted of 584 girls (52.9%) and 520 boys (47.1%), totally 1104 students who were studying at secondary schools in Trabzon during the 2020-2021 academic year. The data were obtained with the personal information form and perceived self-regulation scale. T-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey test were used in the analysis of the data obtained. As a result of the analyzes which were made, it was observed that the self-regulation skills of female students were higher than male students, and their self-regulation skills did not differ according to the grade level. Also, it was observed that the self-regulation skills of the students who always attended the distance education courses were higher than the students who did not attend the courses occasionally or not at all.
