In this paper, we introduce an X-band small phased array radar based on the AD9361. For a UAV with a radar cross section (RCS) of about 0.01, the radar has a detection radius of 5 km and a detection height of 250 m. The radar can perform UAV detection in a variety of complex environments, enabling accurate capture of drones even in urban environments.
