Spectral multi-level ASK × BPSK OCDM based on electrical-domain spatial code spreading and self-homodyne detection
We propose frequency-domain OCDM employing BPSK in addition to multi-level ASK based on electrical-domain spatial code spreading. With BPSK, scalability is enhanced while maintaining a practical configuration owing to self-homodyne detection. Feasibility is confirmed experimentally at 3 user × 1.5 Gbit/s.
