One of the compulsory features of uniplanar EBG structures is elimination of perpendicular vias, thus simplifying fabrication method and brands them attuned with microwave and millimetre circuits. Antenna integrated with plus shaped EBG discards the frequency band 7.25–7.75 GHz used for satellite downlink signal. Notch occurrences may be altered by varying the attaching outlines and cavities of EBG cells. The compensations of band notched antenna designs by means of uniplanar EBG structures resembling comfort of production, notch-frequency alteration and stable radiation configuration is also presented. 摘要
