We were thus interested to find that by careful attention to braid design, a cable could be pro duced with a single braid that actually had better shielding effectiveness than a similar existing cable with a double braid. This fact was confirmed by two different laboratories, using a frequency domain technique in one case, and a time domain (EMP) technique in the other.
