These nodes are usually deployed in random fashion in an area to perform sensing and monitoring of the environment also it becomes impossible to replace or recharge batteries for the dead sensor nodes. This critical design issue of power consumption in WSN can be resolved by using clustering methods. It has been proved in earlier studies that clustering method could improve or enhance the life span of WSNs when used for real time IOT applications. This paper gives the fuzzy approach for the cluster head selection for the improvement of network lifetime that suits Real time applications.
