The main technology of Full Virtualization is KVM and the other is Xen. This paper has described the design and implementation of the Private Cloud Desktop of Teaching and Practical Platform (PCDTPP) Based on VDI of Zhijiang College of Zhejiang University of Technology. The PCDTPP was built based on the technology of Harf-Virtualization VDI according to the result of simulation experiment this paper proposed shows that Citrix Xen Project (CXP) is superior to KVM-QEMU Modular (KQM) in stability, compatibility and network adaptability. The PCDTPP built a XenServer resources pool running on 5 H3C R4900 G3 servers based on CXP and turned the PCs in 2013 only supported 32-bit processors to the terminals achieving delivery of 64-bit win10 cloud desktop. The PCDTPP can support 210 cloud desktops running in parallel and locating to different lab places.
