The development of counter UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) technology requires the use of an efficient multiband power amplifier (PA) at the end of the transmission link. In this paper, the CGH40010F produced by Cree is used to design a dual-band amplifier which can work at 1.57/2.44GHz simultaneously. In this paper, T - type network is added on the basis of the traditional II matching network to realize the impedance rotation of the matched frequency band and expand the bandwidth of the dual frequency amplifier. The simulation results of the dual-band amplifier show that the PAE of the dual-band amplifier reaches 58.5% and 59.2%, the output power reaches 39.96dBm and 40.07dBm, and the gain is 12.4dB and 12.9dB respectively. The bandwidth of the two working bands can reach 80MHz, which can meet the needs of counter UAV systems.
