Space-Aerial-Ground-Sea Integrated Networks: Resource Optimization Security in 6G Networks
Future wireless networks ((beyond fifth-generation (B5G) and sixth-generation (6G) are expected to handle a large number of mobile and Internet of things (IoTs) devices by integrating space-aerial-ground-sea integrated (SAGSI) networks. Efficient resource management schemes in SAGSI networks are critical to tackle the challenges of seamless and high-quality wireless connectivity of heterogeneous devices anytime and any-where. However, keeping the security and privacy of individual and integrated networks intact while optimizing resources is essential. This paper studies and discusses security issues in SAGSI networks from a resource optimization perspective. We present a survey of recent literature on how resource optimization and security are co-related in different domains of overall networks while considering artificial intelligence, machine learning (AI/ML), Blockchain, edge computing, secure non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), and software-defined networking (SDN) as potential technologies for secure SAGSI networks. We also provide future research directions and challenges in secure SAGSI networks.
