With a development of robotics and automation in industrial applications, DC servo motors present in the robotic arms manage speed control and precise position control. This paper presents small simulated prototype of PID controlled DC servo motor connected to the IoT platform. Ascertain control, monitoring of machines and its behavior associated with it, have been done remotely. Controller for the proposed system is developed by Model Based Design (MBD). Speed of the smart servo system is controlled by a user through MATLAB interfaced ThingSpeak IoT platform. Live data visualization, updating data and analysis are reported.
