The adaptive modulation is a powerful technique for maximizing the data throughput of subcarriers allocated to a user. In this paper, we consider a simple adaptive loading algorithm for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing based wireless communication systems for signal spectrum optimization. The algorithm is based on the margin adaptive loading criterion and its performance over 5 GHz indoor wireless channels.
