DYNAMICS OF THE NUMBER OF FOREST FIRES AND THE AREA COVERED BY THEM IN THE URAL FEDERAL DISTRICT

Предпринята попытка анализа фактической горимости лесов субъектов Уральского федерального округа. На основе фактических материалов проанализированы показатели о количестве лесных пожаров и пройденной ими площади за период с 2001 по 2022 гг., а также причины их возникновения, средняя площадь лесного пожара. Отмечается, что лесной фонд субъектов Уральского федерального округа (УрФО) характеризуется существенными различиями. В ЯНАО и ХМАО-Югра доля количества лесных пожаров значительно ниже доли пройденной огнем площади относительно УрФО в целом. Последнее объясняется не только слабой освоенностью территории дорожной сетью, но и низкой оперативностью ликвидации лесных пожаров. Совершенствование охраны лесов от пожаров может быть обеспечено маневрированием сил и средств пожаротушения, эффективным противопожарным устройством и планированием работ по охране с учетом меняющегося климата. Особо следует отметить, что пожарная обстановка в лесном фонде УрФО создается ежегодно на всей территории округа. При этом значительное количество лесных пожаров во многом объясняется низкой противопожарной культурой граждан. An allempt was made analyze the actual burning of forests in subgects of the Ural Federal District. Based on actual materials, the indicators on the number of forest fi res and the area covered by them for the period from 2001 to 2022, the average area of forest fi res, as well as the causes of their occurrence have been analyzed. It is noted that the forest fund in the subjects of Ural Federal District is characterized by signifi cant differences. In YANAD and Khanta-Yugra the share the number of forest fi res is signifi cant by lower than the share of the area covered by the fi re relative to the Ural Federal District as a whole. The latter is explained not only by the road network, which is weak in this territory, but also by the low effi ciency of forest fi res elimination. The improvement of forest protection from fi res can be ensured by maneuvering of forces and means of fi re extinguishing effective forest fi re protection management and planning of protection works taking into account the changing climate. It should be especially noted that the fi re situation in the forest fund of UFD is formed annually in the district at the same time a signifi cant number of forest fi res is largely dul to the low fi re prevention culture of citizens.
