Conhecimento como percepção em Teeteto de Platão

Resumo: O presente artigo trata da investigação do conceito de conhecimento na obra Teeteto de Platão. Fazendo-o dialogar com outros autores, inclusive, contemporâneos, procurando trazer à realidade atual a busca encetada na antiguidade. O diálogo transcorreu, principalmente, entre Teeteto e Sócrates, sendo que aquele percorreu a conceituação desde a comparação entre conhecimento em si e suas aplicações; conhecimento como percepção; conhecimento como opinião verdadeira e conhecimento como opinião verdadeira acrescida da razão. Este trabalho restringiu-se ao conceito como percepção, dirigindo-se às imperfeições na captação dos sentidos físicos e o auxílio prestado pela memória. Quanto à percepção, constatou-se que sua participação na conceituação não podia ser exclusiva, tendo em vista as possibilidades de desvios no caminho das informações no percurso do exterior até à mente, até sua interpretação final. A este aspecto alia-se a participação da memória cuja função no processo envolvendo a percepção, atua no registro e armazenagem de informações, pois o que um indivíduo lembra também conhece. No entanto, o tema continua pendente na conceituação final, pois as coisas em si não são aprisionadas meramente pela linguagem. Conclui-se que o trabalho de definição do conhecimento ainda é tarefa de pesquisas mais aprofundadas, tendo em vista o farto material de trabalho à disposição para o estudo. Palavras-chave: Conhecimento; Interpretação; Memória; Percepção; Teeteto.   Knowledge as perception on Plato’s Theatetus Abstract: This article deals with the investigation of the concept of knowledge in the Plato's Theaetetus. Making the dialogue with other authors, including contemporary, seeking to bring the current reality the search initiated in antiquity. The dialogue went mainly between Theaetetus and Socrates, and he toured the concept from the comparison between knowledge itself and its applications; knowledge and perception; knowledge as true belief and knowledge as true belief plus the reason. This work was restricted to the concept as perception, addressing the shortcomings in capturing the physical senses and the aid provided by memory. As for the perception, it was found that participation in the concept could not be exclusive, given the possibilities for deviations in the way of information outside the route to the mind, to its final interpretation. In this aspect, it is combined with the participation of memory whose function in the case involving the perception, operates in the recording and storage of information, for an individual to remember, too, knows. However, the issue is still pending, the final concept, as things in themselves are not merely trapped by language. It is concluded that the definition of knowledge work is still further research task in view of the abundant labor material available for study.
