The procedure of attaining solar energy required planning, opting and establishing arrangement of various elements those are incorporated in the mechanism to confirm the demand prediction. In this work, HOMER software is employed as sizing and optimization tool to calculate the array size and specifications of solar photovoltaic system, cost of system and estimation of corresponding produced electrical energy and optimize with Diesel Generator. The results computed presents that the sizing of photovoltaic stand-alone system relays on the load information, solar radiation data and cost of system components.
