An array optical system is needed to acquire the data; some adaptive optics systems or optical fiber systems may be applicable for this purpose. The data are then processed in a computer, following the physical concept of repeated transmission of phase-conjugated wave, to find out the wave sharply focusing at a single point on the object. A mathematical analysis of the method does not guarantee the generation of such a sharp focal beam.
