A comparative study on the interpersonal network of learning promotion and employment competitiveness

Facing the present situation of the current employment problem of university graduates and the poor learning situation, this paper attempts to start from the perspective of social network effects, employment competitiveness of college students interpersonal network and learning to promote the structural characteristics of the network inquiry. Research through questionnaire survey and interviews to collect information and build a network of relationships, using a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, with the aid of the UCINET social network analysis software to analyze the influence degree of relationship types and corresponding network effects, achieve the visual description of the topological structure on the network. Besides, the research measured the degree based on social network analysis methods, analyzes the net's cohesive subgroups with algorithm of factions and clique. The study found that college students employment competitiveness promoting interpersonal network and learning promoting interpersonal network are largely coincides in the matter of the influence of relationship types, the impact strength and the network nodes; school teachers and students relations, alumni relations and parent-child relationship play a huge role in the two types of networks.
