Through a combination of simulation and experiment, the transmission performance of IoT gateways based on multiple communication protocols is tested and analyzed. The paper uses EdgeX Foundry edge computing framework, Raspberry Pi 3B+ as the core, and Docker virtualized container technology, distributed A microservice architecture was deployed and a temperature and humidity alarm system based on the Modbus communication protocol was constructed. The average delay of the system was 576 ms.
