摘要

本文对沙特汽车车牌字符识别进行了研究。由于沙特车牌的特殊性质,与黎巴嫩车牌相比,已经制定了更简单的程序。有限的识别字符集可以开发更小的识别树。将所开发的程序应用于实际车牌上的不同字符,对算法支持的字符识别率达到100%。在图像中加入均匀分布的伪随机噪声来模拟误差。该算法被证明即使在字符被噪声严重破坏的情况下也能工作。
