The purpose of the research is to contribute to solving the issues of modernisation and innovation of the informatics preparation of the relevant tertiary study programs graduates, considering the curricula content and its interconnection with the practice and labour market requirements regarding the graduates' knowledge and skills in informatics area. Main attention of the research is paid to the issues of teaching database systems and technologies.
