Scholcomm jobs are increasingly prevalent at all types of institutions, and there is increasing recognition that, in a sense, every academic librarian’s work serves and is driven by changes in scholarly communication. Unfortunately, while scholcomm is something we all need to understand, it’s not taught in many LIS programs.
