Thus, the hypothesis developed are that (1) there is a significant effect of environmental change on the dietary habits of the women and (2) gender norms are significant in the selection of foods in Chandigarh.Design/methodology/approachThe literature review was done with the help of NVivo 11, and for quantitative data analysis, SPSS version 22 is used.FindingsThe study concluded that societal gender norms were not significant for women in the choice of food. Also, climate change and women are an essential factor in food preferences at the household level.Originality/valueWhile framing the adaptation policy and programs at the institutional level, the cultural and traditional knowledge gets little attention. 本文的目的有两个:(1)研究性别在食物偏好中的作用;(2)研究印度昌迪加尔因气候变化而导致的食物选择的变化。因此,我们提出的假设是:(1)环境变化对妇女的饮食习惯有显著影响;(2)性别规范在昌迪加尔的食物选择中有显著影响。设计/方法/方法文献综述是在NVivo 11的帮助下完成的,对于定量数据分析,使用SPSS version 22。研究结果表明,社会性别规范对女性选择食物的影响不大。此外,气候变化和妇女是家庭层面食物偏好的重要因素。在制度层面制定适应政策和项目时,文化和传统知识很少受到重视。因此,本文件将有助于从性别角度进行决策。
