This research paper aims to analyze the role of television as a source of entertainment and social connection. Based on previous studies, it is evident that television has the potential to create a sense of companionship among individuals facing isolation. Moreover, it is argued that individuals tend to share their emotional experiences less when they do not interact with others face to face. Additionally, the paper explores the evolution of drama as a form of mass entertainment, which has gained immense popularity in the 20th century. The research argues that modern drama reflects the complex struggle of life and human nature, making it a universal medium of expression.
