While teaching performing disciplines it is necessary to take into account many individual characteristics and features inherent in each student — physiological, psychological, ideological, spiritual. The importance of the emerging interpersonal relations between a teacher and a student is emphasized. The main methods of pedagogical influence on students of performing classes are revealed — display, verbal explanations, emotional and volitional drive, and ways of organizing independent work on mastering a musical work, aimed at improving the technique of the performer and comprehending the artistic image of the work. At the lesson, the teacher shall build a model of the student’s independent homework and determine the ultimate goal — the formation of the interpretive concept of the work and the public performance of the work in the most complete and perfect form.
