Among the blenders used for mixing, Ribbon blender is the most commonly used mixer. This paper proposes a method for the automation of mixing process. The traditional Ribbon blender which are in practice has to be operated manually. The proposed system is a semi-automated system which consists of microcontroller and the timer circuit to predict the time of the mixing process using Neural Network. The proposed semi-automated mixing process offers better performance in terms of efficiency and user convenience.
