Also, a proper radio resource assignment for JT -CoMP is needed. This paper studies the impact of choosing different PLD values on peruser throughput for CoMP and non-CoMP users. It also describes how radio resources in JT -CoMP systems are assigned. Simulation results demonstrate that a small PLD value such as 5 dB provides a better balance between SINR gain and loss of resources compared with higher PLD values such as 10 dB and 15 dB.
