This paper uses the TFP model to analyze the relationship between the improvement of citizen's scientific literacy and economic growth. The analysis shows that the contribution of capital investment to economic growth is the main factor. There is evidenced a significant positive effect of citizen's scientific literacy on the nations economic growth along with the significant effect of the improvement of the peoples physical health on economic growth. The article also analyzes the impact of economic growth from the four aspects of the composition of scientific literacy, those are scientific knowledge, scientific method, scientific attitude and the relationship between science and society.
