Information & communication technology (ICT) ability is a necessary professional ability for teachers in the era of wisdom education. In this study, a six-factor structure model of teachers' ICT ability was constructed. This study takes primary and secondary school teachers in X District, X City, a demonstration area of smart education, as the research object to explore the influence of gender, age, teaching age, professional title and educational background on teachers' ICT ability. The results show that age, teaching age and professional title have significant influence on teachers' ICT ability. The number of information-based training and teaching and research affects teachers' ICT ability.
